Use this guide if you already have website files and want to publish them on your hosting account.
1. Sign in to your AJCHost client area and open cPanel.
2. Open File Manager.
3. Locate the document root for your domain. For a primary domain this is commonly public_html, but addon domains and subdomains may use different folders. Confirm the correct document root before uploading.
4. Upload your website files. If you have a ZIP archive, upload it and extract it using File Manager.
5. Check that the main entry file, such as index.php or index.html, is in the document root and not accidentally nested inside a second folder.
6. If the website uses a database, create or import the database as needed and update the application configuration with the correct database details.
7. Confirm that the domain points to the correct hosting account, then visit the domain and test the site.
If you see an error, note the exact message and any recent changes. Avoid changing file permissions or configuration settings at random. Submit a support ticket if you need assistance.
